2010 Summer Institute on Aging Research Annual Workshop

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) announces the annual Summer Institute on Aging Research,
a weeklong workshop for investigators new to aging research, focused on current issues, research
methodologies and funding opportunities. It is the original and premier short-term training
Summer Institute for new investigators in aging research.

Date and LocationThe program includes consultations on the development of research interests. The 2010 Summer Institute will be held July 10-16 in Queenstown, MD. Support is available for travel and living expenses.

Applications are due March 5, 2010.

To increase the diversity of participants, minority investigators are strongly encouraged to apply.
The applicant must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national or permanent resident.
