AABoomers.com is an online magazine—published monthly—for and about the 9.1 million African-American Baby Boomers, those born between 1946 and 1964. (We are honored that President and Mrs. Obama fall into our demographic.)

AABoomers.com was founded in February 2008. We include feature articles on the following topics: Arts & Culture, Book Reviews, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health & Beauty, Lifestyles, Politics, Travel and Transitions.  We also feature a Topic of the Day and ‘Did You Know?’ pages.

We have also provided a portal for those interested in browsing job listings and applying for employment, as well a creating a portal to health & fitness-related information at BlackDoctor.org which we like to call The AABoomers.com Fit Club.

Another feature is a blog site which will allow us to provide new information and converse with our readership between editions. You can join the fun and get to know some of your fellow Boomers!

The Boomer demographic is the best educated within the African-American community and represents the bulk of the Black middle class.  African-American Baby Boomers have an estimated annual spending power of over $200 billion dollars and represent the largest group of Black leisure travelers.

We hope that through our site we can educate, inform, and entertain our readers, and give them plenty to think about and discuss. Thank you reading, and keep your eyes peeled, because you never know what we’ll have in store next!
